The Albers Stool was a design commissioned for the Joseph and Anni Albers Foundation. The three legged hard wood stool stacks saving space while forming a sculpture cascading affect.
Production & Design
The Albers Stool is handmade in Nicaragua, with Hurricane Felix felled old grown hardwood. Each leg is made using two pieces of wood with exposed mortise and tenon joints. This makes the stool very durable while also showing off the beauty of the hardwood joinery. The stool can be used as a seat as well as side table.
